AUDI CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS CONTENT SPECIALIST

Description:
The Audi corporate communications content specialist will execute a sophisticated approach to anticipating, creating, and delivering content that appeals to U.S. media, internal Audi audiences and key stakeholders.

In this role, the specialist will manage projects within the communications department as well as throughout the company to conceive, produce and oversee compelling corporate stories that can be told across all channels. They will assist the Manager of Corporate Communication with message development, writing, and editing across diverse content to ensure quality, accuracy, and seamless messages throughout Audi communication products. The Audi communications content specialist must have the ability to create exceptionally-written communication, on deadline. They will have a passion for storytelling and an interest in both internal and external communication. Familiarity with executive communication and Audi product is required.

Responsibilities:
Content creation:
• Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of AoA news, multimedia content and information
• Ensures quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging across internal platforms
• Requires keen news judgment—deciding what content and presentations work best for press as well as internal and dealer audiences
• Works hand-in-hand with partners and leaders across AoA to maximize content distribution—reviews and edits pieces for internal and dealer audiences, ensuring quality and messaging consistency throughout
• Assists the Manager Corporate Communications with message development, writing, and editing
• Leverages products such as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to design and produce infographics in accordance with Audi CI that support the brand’s messaging and priorities across product, corporate, innovation, and lifestyle communications
• Works closely with Audi corporate sales team to write and publish quarterly and annual press release
• Mines for and amplifies relevant stories from AUDI AG to better inform Audi of America audiences of the brand’s stories and events across the globe

Newsroom management:
• The successful candidate has a firm understanding of how to manage, maintain and execute a cadence of communication on digital platforms
• Calm under pressure and ability to publish and promote Audi news in real time
• Positive attitude, creative approach and ability to maintain confidential information is required
• Project management skills—able to lead a project or initiative from conception to publication

Cross-functional and cross-departmental coordination:
• This role works within the communications department as well as across the entire business to tell the most compelling stories across public and internal communication channels
• Works closely with the entire communication team to plan and publish press releases, media kits, photos and video
• Fields press inquiries and works with communications colleagues as well as subject matter experts to respond with speed and accuracy
• Ability to understand, streamline and prioritize needs for cross-functional teams to communicate the organization
• Support on ongoing tasks across compliance, budget, and digital maintenance for communications team and platforms

Social media management and amplification:
• The Communications Content Specialist develops and maintains the Audi News Twitter handle, delivering the latest in Audi news and driving traffic back to the AoA newsroom
• Has a firm understanding of what journalists need to enhance their Audi coverage and helps his/her colleagues in fielding and responding to press inquiries
• Works hand-in-hand with Audi of America social media and marketing teams to share and coordinate news and content

Education required:
• Bachelor’ Degree in Communications, Journalism, or an associated area (Arts & Sciences, Economics, Sociology, Psychology)
