Position Summary: The Client Technology Analyst is responsible for providing technical support for all PC computing requirements and to evaluate, recommend and implement required changes and enhancements. These responsibilities encompass the entire end user computing environment, and include all workstations, printers, peripherals, and productivity. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Operational Work: Install and support Intel PC-based hardware and software operating systems on a Microsoft Windows client/server production environment. Provide ongoing hardware and software support to users and Information Systems staff, for both end user computing and development environments. Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnosis system hardware, software, and operator problems. Provide desktop application support and productivity. Determine and implement changes and enhancements to facilitate current and future technical requirements. Provide assistance with the installation and maintenance of telephony system. Maintain inventory of all computing hardware and software and help insure that the company is in compliance with all software licensing requirements. Repair or return all defective or damaged equipment to the appropriate vendor and track status to ensure return of equipment. Facilitate the return of any off lease equipment per leasing schedules and return equipment to vendors. Strategy Work: Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of computing hardware and software. Instructs users in use of equipment and software. Coordinates activities with Desktop, Service Desk and other Infrastructure teams. Maintain vendor contacts and relationships to ensure timely and effective resolution of problems/failures. Responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation as pertains to the end user computing environment. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS-Education: Bachelors degree or College diploma in Computer Science and Related practical business experience. Experience: At least two years experience with implementation, troubleshooting and monitoring in a networked PC environment. Two or more years experience in installation, configuration, and support of end user PC/laptop equipment. Experience with Compaq hardware and utilities. Experience with HP desktops & notebooks. Experience with Windows 10 & Office 2016. iPhone & iPad support experience. Experience with systems management software, preferably Altiris & Scalable. Experience with asset management and processes, preferably System Center. DHCP, WINS, Exchange, and virtual private networking. Office/Windows 365 (cloud infrastructure).
