The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and coordinating HR processes and initiatives and serves as the initial point of contact for general HR topics. Efforts support managers, employees, and fellow HR colleagues.

Role Responsibilities:

Service Center Transformation (SCT)
• Provides operational support for major ongoing departmental reorganization
• Drafts HR communications and facilitates informational sessions with small groups or individual employees in one-on-one meetings
• Ensures consistent tracking and reporting of data related to transformation efforts
• Serves as point of contact for manager and supervisor questions related to SCT

General Support
• Supports HR Operations team with a variety of responsibilities, including
o HR (SAP) and ATS (Taleo) administration
o Leave administration
o General HR data reporting
o Unemployment administration
o Etc.
• Serves as point of contact for employee and supervisor questions related to HR policies and processes
• Ad hoc generalist tasks in support of HR Manager and the Operations team

Qualifications:

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR generalist or business partner
• Desired: Experience supporting a client group through major reorganization
• Desired: Experience supporting a large, non-exempt client group focused on operational delivery and/or customer service

Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Communications, or Business Administration

Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to quickly build rapport and productive relationships with employees and leaders
• Ability to work and manage time independently
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Strong ability to prioritize work and manage client group expectations
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong Excel skills (data sorting, V-lookup, etc.)

Desired Specialized Skills
• SAP HR, Taleo ATS
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification
